After hearing about Phoenix's arrest, Kay decided to talk to the man himself...and maybe cheer him up. Jail could never get someone like Kay down for too long.]
We haven't met, but my name is Barnaby Brooks Jr., a registered imPort who lives in Heropa. Recently, I contacted Miles Edgeworth regarding the creation of a fund to assist those who would rather not register. He told me to direct any further questions to you for the time being.
I'm free to talk either around lunchtime or in the evenings. What works best for you?
I'm having so much fun at camp! Thanks for letting me go! It's really neat being out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of other kids (the cabins aren't co-ed, Daddy, calm down...) and there's lots of sports for us to do. Of course, it's not as good as the times we've gone camping with just the two of us. Nobody grills up a can of beans like my dad. :)
I hope work's keeping you busy so you don't get too sad while I'm gone. Remember, it's just a week! I'll be back before you know it. I'm bringing you a souvenir, too. I'm a little too big for macaroni drawings now, but I made something else pretty cool in arts and crafts.

Elsa debated calling him a little while after Trucy's post before finally going ahead. She's not sure he'll pick up, but it's worth a try, right?]

Ha...! Now when we decided you'd be investigating, I thought we said you were going to be discreet.
I'm assuming one of your dozen or so attorney friends will be jumping at the bit to defend you. You won't need public defense. Though-
[A longer pause this time.]
You have my number if someone needs it.
Keep your nose clean in there, Wright.
[Quickly, before it sinks in that he did not, in fact, say "Trite," he hangs up.
not that he cares you're in prison or anything.]

Hi Daddy! Just wanted to let you know I'm going to meet a friend this afternoon. We're going to go play basketball at the youth center.
See you at dinnertime. Love you!
[Oh good, and there won't be any more questions...]
