Badly. Yagami is restless and reckless. Violet shows a marked tendency towards depression and self-destruction. Neither of them have been away from their parents before, and it quite shows.

It's...quite bad. Ms. Harmon is clearly gone half-mad with the freedom, to say nothing of the grief of being parted from her family. Just a few days after she arrived, she went to Los Angeles to examine whether her family was still there. I gave her money for the trip on the condition that she would use it to make good, safe choices - taking taxis, staying in hotels - and she returned it untouched.

I know you mean well. But you have a way of talking to people that puts them on the defensive, whether they intended to or not.

My point is that you can't treat her or Yagami the same way you treat a suspect or a witness in court.

Give her some space. Teenagers don't like feeling coddled. And before you bring up Trucy again, believe me when I say you've never seen her at her worst.

I'd agree with you normally, except that - Things are far too dangerous here. They can't be left to their own devices.

Just don't hover over them constantly. Let them come to you, to extend some trust. It's not like we don't all have access to the network in case of an emergency.
